Yada Kadachit - Marathi Play

Last weekend we spent time watching some Marathi Plays.

We specially watched "Yada Kadachit" - A mast malvani play!!
I would recommend it to be a must watch for any Marathi Natak Lover!



The whole language is Malvani where they dont' pronounce words with a "ळ" => the infinity alphabet. All instances of this aplhabet become "ल".

All the dialogues are cool with teasers on the Mah govt and others.

This play has the Mahabharat scenes and interferences from characters from Ramayan.

My fav line:
"(गर गर, गर गर, गरा!! बोला कोन फोडणार माशाचा डोला !!" (gar gar, gar gar, gara, bola kon fodnar mashya cha dola)
- Scene of draupadi swayamvar. This mod draupadi is having the "goldfish soap" in her hand and saying the line.
