Indian Idol 2 - Total Dumb & Blind Show

I have been following Indian Idol2 since the last few weeks.

Sandeep Acharya has become the Indian Idol. That fellow is no comparision to how Karunya sings.
These shows are not promoting talent but basing on how Indians vote. It's basically how your known people vote for you. Not basing on how good you are!!

Karunya has been performing really good !! The results are really shocking! Good talent is wasted!!!

At such points there should be a judges veto which would be of some use!

It's a sad day!

  • lemme tell u that anonymous is not me...and am not too good at lying. :P

    well i mean u've described the situation, so well. there are 3 sides to it. the public, the contestants and sony. it's surprising that the public (of which we are very much a part) voted for the same 'wrong' person that we the public unanimously are terming as a bad choice. but then does sony care...it's happy! and getting rich.
    contestants are just doin'their job in a more mundane way than anyone else. i dunno personally i felt like indian idol 2 wasn't as watchable as indian idol 1....or maybe i missed most of the important episodes, being away at hostel. well if i'm not wrong, weren't there 2 parallel competitions for males and females...ladkiyon ka kya hua...no 50% reservations?
    lastly...do u really agree with the indian idol 1 choice?...well maybe it'll be difficult if u've voted for the guy.
    p.s. got ur blog link thru carmelito's blog comment section....just like strollin' by the blogosphere, and felt like putting in my bit in this simple article.

    Thanks for your comments. Yes even i am wondering why there was no reservation in this case! :D

    Well, I did'nt follow Indian Idol I but i had followed Fame Gurukul. Another waste of time.

    I did'nt vote for anyone. I think i saved precious money by not doing that :D

    Anyways a lesson learnt - Dont' watch such (non-)talent shows.

    BTW i visited your site. Got real scared of the snap glaring back at me!

    reservations?? i read this post of yours. :) had actually read the email fwd: b4 that.
    Fame Gurukul...what bout that shaan hosted show on z? ma's glued to it thru the year and lastly...chhya what a rubbish choice. sach bataun toh judges are treated like kids...honhaar kids...mind u.
    me saved money too...coz it's not like if u're choice wins, he/she's gonna sing at a family function...i mean besides i hate pop....doorstep pe shotgun leke khada rehta. muhahaha.
    i wish more people learn the lessons...just imagine the power of everyone NOT voting at all...unimaginable eh?
    snap's snappin' atcha'?? haha. bahut mehnat karke raat ke 0230 baje eyes strain karke nikale...am a bit stubborn too...don't feel like changin' the pic. btw what good's a pic that doesn't get a reaction...but i hope u're in good health after the shock treatment.
    i mean it indicates the nature of the blog....erm blogger. so the question is "are you SERIOUSLY goin thru all that stuff?"

    Honhar judges.. hmmh.. kiddish i must say. My sis-in-law watches that shaan show.. another junk one. really rubbish shows. I would prefer watching 'friends' or 'fear factor' than those ones..

    change that snap.. it's more scary than any of the RGV company movies.. Darna mana hai.. and darna jaroori hai!!

    Well, Did you sign the online petition against reservation ? By mistake i forgot to mention a 'not' and the line was like "There should be reservations " :-(.. a 'not' matters a much i guess.
